ELECMAN ® 1-5/8" * 1-3/8"(41*35mm) Galvanized Steel Strut Channel ES-300
Applications
ELECMAN® 1-5/8" * 1-3/8"(41*35mm) galvanized steel strut channel ES-300 comprise of a long metal sheet, bent and folded for creating a U-shaped stiff channel. Its edges are turned inside and face towards other, thereby creating a groove over the top of the equipment. This enables the installers to interlock the components together or fit them using nut bolts and fasteners into the channel. Use 12-ga. side-to-side solid strut channels for framing and mounting electrical wires and cables. 10-ft. lengths are available in a variety of colors, finishes, and lengths.
Features
The main advantage of strut channel in construction is that there are many options available for rapidly and easily connecting lengths together and other items to the strut channel, using various specialized strut-specific fasteners and bolts.It can be assembled very rapidly with minimal tools and only moderately trained labor, which reduces costs significantly in many applications.A strut channel installation also can often be modified or added-to relatively easily if needed.

1.TOTAL STATIC LOAD in LBS.
2.Upper line is MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE UNIFORM LOAD creating 25000 PSI Bending Stress about the X-Axis based on SIMPLE BEAM condition.
3.Lower line shows TOTAL UNIFORM LOAD which produces a deflection of 1/240th of the SPAN(i.e.: ½. Def. for 120" Span )
4.Multiply values in upper line by 0.5 to obtain ALLOWABLE CENTER CONCENTRATED LOAD at 25000 PSI Stress. Deflection by 0.8.
5.* Load limited by spot weld shear.
6.For punched channel, reduce weld limited loads by 0.75 due to 4" weld spacing.
